Great sound considering they're not in your ears and if you use the ear plugs it's even better. I am an HVAC Technician and these are perfect for allowing me to talk hands free and still hear what's going on with the equipment and my surroundings. I most appreciate the lack of background noise....so much so that I bought a pair for my Wife so I didn't have to hear her loud keyboard clacking when she talked to me while she was at work. And the battery life is incredible!

Best headphones ever made

The newer version (Shokz OpenRunMini) is slightly better in that it allows for a 10 minute quick charge. These headphones are great for meetings. Doesn't cover your ear or plug the ear. So it doesn't hurt wearing it for long hours. And the mini fits much better than the regular headphones. I am an ardent BOSE fan, but after using the Aftershokz series of products, I think I've found a new favorite.
