Excellent playing, mediocre songs
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Steve Vai is an excellent technical guitarist. It seems he is not that good of a songwriter though but maybe its just me. This is an instrumental album but I still expect to remember the songs and I only find one to be memorable. That is the song 'Juice'. It was a radio single when the album was new. And it is an excellent song. But that is not enough to buy this album in my opinion
