My tower desktop finally gave up one too many times, and decided it was enough. I needed something for photo and video editing and was looking to switch to a laptop. This had all the right specs, so picked it up. Couldn't be more pleased. The screen is great too. Very happy with the purchase.

The permormance of the laptop is amazing, but having only 128GB on the OS hard drive is just not enough and you will soon be struggling for space.

This is a great laptop for kicking around on, its built solid, but for its price I Really Belive it should have come with more USB ports than just one on each side, and as a gamer I can’t call this an awsome rig for gaming with no numpad

Pros: - Excellent CPU and GPU. - Great cooling system, and silent enough. Cons: - Screams "Gamer" with it's cosmetic design - The AlienFX app for changing the RGB lights doesn't work well. 50% of the time, does not change the lights and requires a reinstall of drivers and system restart. Keys could not be programmed individually, and the interface for changing the colors is terrible. - Huge power brick. - Has some sort of electromagnetic interference on the chassis below the keyboard on the left side -- always automatically turns off my phone's screen?

I gave only 3 stars to this review because the 1 tb hdd failed within a week, and the face recognition is not perfect but is a nice feature, overall a solid performer

It has good rgb lighting but after a few days I had some issues. The laptop kept on crashing to this blue screen whenever I played Overwatch or Csgo or etc. It’s a good gaming laptop to get but I rather get a Desktop.

My son put this specific computer on his wishlist as he is a die hard gamer, I finally purchased this for him for his birthday and he loves it. It meets all the criteria that he wanted it for and is in heaven gaming with this laptop.

I absolutely love this machine, it handles everything I throw at it no problem, has room for extra storage. The only downside is the battery is only like 2 to 3 hours under full load but that's to be expected out of a gaming machine imo

I really like this computer, a little heavy but nice I just don't like how occasionally an update will take out the backlit lighting till you update...happened twice now but other than that great...

Plays everything I have tried, battlefield 4, need 4 speed, fortunate, etc st ultra setting no probs. Does get a little warm and blue screened once but I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a laptop primarily for gaming

I bought this laptop with a couple goals in mind; Gaming, work, and a streaming center. This laptop has surpassed my expectations and I know it will yours too! But don’t take my word for it. Try it out for yourself and join me!

I first tried HP spectre x360, and it was not my ideal after first two days. The laptop was becoming so hot and the fan noise was too much that I was not able to bring it to outside. I returned that gear and got this one. I love this computer with following specs: 1. i7-7700HQ (Quad Core, and it's much faster than dual core that I had, my hp spectre x360 was i7-7500U and it was reacting slow) 2. GTX 1070, the best graphic card in my life. 3. The weight (Even though it's still kinda heavy, they decreased about 1.5 lbs from previous one, and my very first laptop was 12lbs.. so I still love 7.5 lbs) 4. Ideal Ram capacity (16GB) 5. Battery amount (99 Wh if I saw correctly?) Cons 1. Weight (compared to ultrabooks which are around 4lbs) 2. The size of SSD (since it's only 128 GB, you have to care when you actually download the software. Make sure that you install to the HDD not on SSD, You need certain empty amount in SSD required to keep it fast) 3. It could be a little bit pricey for people who have limited budget, but I think this is worthy getting. P.S. I love overall design of this laptop. Some people could hate this kind of model, but I desired for this kind since high school... I hope my review could help :)

This is my first gaming laptop after for a long time using gaming desktop. Basicly its cant compare to the gaming desktop but overall thats the best mobile gaming machine you can carry everywhere and enjoy your game

Had the computer for a brief time during which the screen would often black out & need to be manually restarted. While loading a game, the deciding factor to return the computer was when it began to make a terrible sustained screeching noise, again requiring to be shut down manually. A new computer should not have such issues! Returned it!!

Great computer however the charger power pack failed after 2 weeks and no replacement was available aT place of purchase so I ordered one online hopefully to get reimbursed

Overall a great laptop, however the standard C: drive is only 100 GB, which you will fill instantly, get a 500 GB upgrade. Also, doesn't have very many USB ports, you'll need to get a USB hub.

My first gaming computer. Got it to go with Oculus Rift. This combo allows me to take it elsewhere for Virtual Reality experiences with friends who never tried VR. Love the backlighting!

Although it is a highly recommended laptop for players in real time, it is an excellent design tool, real-time 3-D renders and an amazing processing speed. I am very satisfied and happy with my laptop.

Love this computer I bought it last summer. I am an architect graduate student. Charger breaks over a few months though and it’s not cheap to replace!

I purchased this to play games since I don't have a TV and it has worked out extremely well for me. No complaints so far and being able to adjust the light color scheme is a nice touch.
