Excellent computer it does cost a little more but the difference in speed makes the cost worth while.

While I was very happy with the lap top itself, I was not happy with the monitor, I returned this item twice, first time was because there was defects in the monitor, best buy was great in replacing it right away after i explained the problem. On second try, I noticed hooking up the hdmi to a tv game me better quality in 1080p tv over the 4k monitor on the laptop, so why buy 4k laptop not worth it... I returned to a gaming rig at the same price. different strokes for different folks.

Awesome deal for a awesome. Laptop. Already owned one 2 years older. Wanted to add a graphics amp and have a 4k screen. The SSD was awesome free upgrade. Now just need 32gb of ddr4

You wont be dissapointed!!! This beats runs all of my games in ultra setting. For example: dota 2, WOW, the division and overwatch.

I travel all the time and wanted a gaming computer that had a good size screen and able to play the games I like with out hesitation. I also wanted a computer to run my Oculus Rift when I'm not traveling. This computer does both. I will suggest purchasing the external graphics amplifier and (graphics card) to leave setup at home with the Oculus Rift connected and all you have to do is connect the one cable between the graphics amp and the laptop. Now you have more graphics power when stationary at home.

I purchased this laptop after experiencing issues with a different brand. In spite of the higher cost, it was well worth it. This is my first SSD and it is far superior in speed compared with running a moving hard-drive. However, this machine is equipped with SATA+SSD, which gives you the best of both worlds; fast boot and performance, yet storage space when you need it. Everything about this laptop is outstanding. For instance, 17.3" 4K Ultra HD, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M, klipsch audio, not a touch screen, and it's an Alienware laptop - need I say more? To top it off, you're backed by Best Buy's awesome customer service.

This is a very nice laptop. Only knock I have is maybe a bit low on RAM. An easily fixed problem though.

Bought this for my 14 year old gamer but in my opinion, it's not worth it. My son loves it for gaming.

It's an amazing machine. It can run any games fluently. It also help a lot to my CAD design! Highly recommended!

This is the first alienware laptop that I have owned. I am very impressed. -Crystal clear screen -Excellent performance on gaming -Strong build, it doesn't feel fragile at all -Amazing Sound -Excellent cooling. Even after overclocking and pushing it to the limit it is able to stay cool. -The glowing accents on the chassis, lid, touchpad, and keyboard look awesome. The only minor con is that it doesn't have touch capability.

the laptop was amazing. but it was too heavy for me so i had to return for something lighter

I've gone through two laptops, and this is the one! It handles whatever I want to do as far as gaming, social media, and general goofing off.

Great laptop for gaming and heavy duty softwares..

My son had a desk top computer on his truck and it was having problems, so he decided to go with a laptop this time. He always wanted Alienware, so that is what he went with. He really likes his new laptop and it is a lot easier to fit in the truck than his old desktop was, he also didn't need a monitor as he has his new tv that he can use with the laptop. He uses the laptop to do gaming, so this one is perfect for him.

I'm a computer science major so Alienware was my first choice, when looking at computers that can handle school and any gaming needs.

This computer was bought for my husband's gaming needs and so far we are very satisfied with the speed and quality of the laptop

Bought this to upgrade from m17 from'09. Love the speed and graphics. Works like a champ.

I like the laptop seems to work well but I don't think it's worth the Price because it doesn't have a disc drive I miss read the description it DOES NOT HAVE A DISC DRIVE so if you got game disc, movies, or CDs it's a no go it really sucks I had my hopes up and when I opened it to put the game in boom nothing.

Excellent gaming laptop and can play most games. Only downside was the first one died after less than 24 hours due to video card.
