    Power Supply blew after a week

    Currently giving this one star. Machine was on the low end of performance out of the gate, but I expected that with this series as they underclock things to keep things more stable for longer... But after a week, the power supply blew on me. Will open a case tomorrow, but as of this moment, pretty unhappy.

    Ethernet port burnt out after 2 weeks

    According to Dell, the ethernet port burnt out after 2 weeks. The only solutions would be to have the mother board repaired or return it to Best Buy. Also, the Windows search bar is frequently unresponsive. For the cost of the Aurora R15 this shouldn't be something that is happening. I wouldn't recommend purchasing this line of PC.

    it keeps malfunctioning

    I'll be working on a manuscript & the PC randomly reboots; the fans start spinning and the only way to fix it is to press the power button or unplug it.

    Alienware with i9 and gtx 4080

Feedback like yours helps us improve our current and future products. Below I have provided troubleshooting instructions with the full article that can help resolve this issue.

      Here's the steps to help resolve your issue:
      1. Reseat the power cable in the power connector on the back of the computer and the electrical outlet.
      2. Bypass power strips, power extension cables, and other power protection devices to verify that the computer turns on properly.
      3. Ensure that any power strips being used are plugged into an electrical outlet and are turned on.
      4. Ensure that the electrical outlet is working by testing it with another device.
      Use a verified working Power cable.
      5. Ensure that the main power cable and front panel cable are securely connected to the system board.
      6. All power supply units include a self-test ability in an isolation mode. A test button and LED are on the side of the unit where the AC plug is located. Ensure that the power cable is connected to the supply and press the test button to test the PSU.
      7. If the PSU LED does not illuminate, remove the PSU cables from the system board and test again. If the LED still does not illuminate when the test button is pressed, the PSU is possibly faulty.
      8. If after removing the cables from the system board and the PSU LED illuminates, one of the attached devices or components could be faulty. Remove all attached components, reattach the PSU cables and using the PSU test button, install each component individually to test.
      9. Install a verified working PSU.

    Excellent and powerful gaming rig. Very quiet and love the aesthetics. You can purchase from Dell directly and get a better deal. I purchased a top the end R15 (Win 11 pro, 4090, i9) for less than 3k

    Alienware best RTX4080 configuration

    I have older versions of Alienware R7 and R10. This by far is the best performance I've seen, I see about 25% performance in sim racing, most current graphic intensed games and a signficant performance boost in Non-linear video editing and sound production. I typically buy from Alienware but to the exact spec as this Best Buy version at a fraction of the OEM price.
