The new Alienware Aurora R15 gaming desktop was redesigned for improved performance, with significant architectural updates, a revamped thermal strategy and 13th Gen Intel Core processors.
Q: Is the ram on the computer Upgradable?
A: It is with a caveat. I own the R15 with the 4090 configuration and it came originally with 32gb of ddr5 4800 mhz ram. If you want to upgrade to 64gb you can, but if you don't get the RAM from Dell, regardless of the speed you get (say 5200 or 5600mhz) the system is set to keep it at 4800mhz. So if you're going to purchase this rig with the idea of upgrade, remember that little tidbit. I ended up purchasing 64gb of kingston fury ram, which I thought would be compatible at the 5600 mhz I purchase, but it still only runs at 4800.
A: There is a second slot. Easy install. I installed a 4 TB SSD.
Q: What the power supply wattage?
A: 1350 watts.
Q: Is the RAM in this computer 4x8 or 2x16?
A: 2x16

The SSD slot 1 of this desktop is the primary drive. One M.2 2230 solid-state drive (Interface Type- PCIe Gen3 x4 NVMe, up to 64 Gbps) is supported up to 256 GB. One M.2 2280 solid-state drive (Interface Type- PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe, up to 64 Gbps) is supported up to 4 TB. One 3.5-inch hard drive (Interface Type-SATA AHCI 6 Gbps) is supported up to 2 TB. Q: How do you extend the direct Dell/Alienware in home warranty after purchase, such as a 3 or 4 year?
A: You may register your Alienware to Dell/ Alienware site with your PC unique service tag. Dell/ AW can correctly identify your PC and its configuration to assist you in your registration. Once registered you may extend or renew your warranty.
Q: Would I be able to upgrade to the nvidia rtx GeForce 4090?
A: I wouldn't as this version only has the smaller power supply and it is not a replaceable piece (is a Dell/Alienware proprietary PS).
