I was comparing this against a 40L HP Omen desktop with fairly similar specs. The main difference being that this desktop had a slightly better processor ( and really I mean slightly as compared to an AMD Rayzen 7700) and a liquid cooled CPU which the Omen did not. also I mean -- its an alienware on sale. I definitely went for it on a discount because I always remember alienware being top of the line. I do need to mention I bought both desktops as open box - excellent. The Omen came through in almost new condition, couldnt even tell it was open box. The alienware had noticeable scuffs and chipping in the plastic. It is unsurprising because the material on the outer case feels somewhat cheap and plastic-y. I could live with that however when i lifted the alienware out of the box i could hear internal components moving around, like something was broken. I decided just to pack it back up -- never even turned it on. I was looking forward to comparing the two desktops and was honestly leaning towards keeping the alienware prior to unboxing it. Now i'll never know but honestly the case and lighting looks nicer on the omen anyways and isnt that something alienware is known for

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Literally my second day booting it up a screen pops up asking me to do a windows reset update (or somerthing along those lines) did it booted back up my computer now its stuck wit a black screen with the cursor loadig. Have been stuck on this screen for an hour even tried turning it off holding the button 10 weconds 3 separate times to get windows recovery and still aftwr putting it on safemode wont chnage ( one more hour away from returning this item)
