I knew something was wrong the moment it froze during the first start up. This turned into freezing and crashing over and over. Needles to say, I just returned it and ordered and replacement. I'm REALLY hoping this was an outlier and truly just a dud. I'll update this review as needed once I receive my replacement. :/

I understand its suppose to be a "Gaming Machine", but this thing can't read half of my music CDs, it constantly locks up and is inferior in everyway to my 7 year old ASUS Desktop. I intend to return this inferior prodiuctto Best Buy this weekend.

Bad computer overall

I bought it brand new and within the first week it started lagging and restarting by itself. It could run any game you'd like, but getting it to run is the problem. Even adobe photoshop would glitch out and the computer made corrupted files, which lead me to hard reset the computer on the first 6 days! I absolutely wouldn't recommend this to anyone, JUST BUILD YOUR OWN PC.

Driver Error

After the basic windows set up I installed Steam and a single game. Quick going to open Microsoft edge to download google chrome it resets. To the continue to do so every few minutes leading to a blue screen with Driver irql_not_less_or_equal. A fix was to reinstall windows as I tried it crashed with that error during the reinstall leaving the computer unable to boot. Hoping I got a faulty system but as it stands I wouldn't buy this,

It appears that the issues you are having are either related to the installed version of Windows on your device or the drivers on your device. The compatibility of the drivers that your device came with and the version of Windows that you are using can affect new downloads and games on your computer. We would recommend that you uninstall Steam and the additional game that you downloaded and check your computer's Windows Updates to make sure that your version of Windows includes all of the latest Windows packages. It's possible that the version of Steam or the game that you downloaded is meant for a version of Windows that has not yet completed installation on your new device. Once your Windows packages are up to date we'd recommend making sure that your Aurora R6 Drivers are up to date. Malfunctions

Had to take the first one back the day after I got it. Second time, computer worked great for a week then wouldn't display anything. I WILL NEVER BUY AN ALIENWARE AGAIN!!!! I DONT EVEN KNOW WHY THEIR REPUTATION IS SO GREAT THEY ARE TERRIBLE COMPUTERS!!!!
