I'll never buy another pre-built...EVER. I thought i could get a second machine quicker and cheaper due to the parts shortage and couldnt have regretted it more. What a pile of junk.

We suggest updating your BIOS using the Alienware Update application that came pre-installed with your system. With the latest firmware installed, you should expect the most stable up-to-date experience.

Great bang for the buck!

Plays all my games with maxed out details at decent frame rates. The fans are kind of loud, but they do the job of keeping a very powerful computer running nice and cool so it doesn't throttle back performance. At this price point that should be expected, and if you want something quieter then spend the extra money and have it water cooled. I have my tower on top of my desk about 2 feet away, and the fan noise doesn't bother me at all. The only thing I don't like is that their isn't a disk drive of any kind so all my games had to be downloaded. It would have been nice if it included a blu-ray player, but I guess streaming is the new way to go. Overall I highly recommend this PC, it has easy access to switch out components, so it should be easy to keep it up to date with upgrades in the future.

Was also prone to locking up and stutter in games that I was able to play easily on my older Aurora (same settings) which makes me suspect it was overheating. The "fixes" for this are to replace some of the cooling fans with higher quality ones. I'm not doing that on a $2,000 pc. Nor should I need to. This will probably be my last (of many) Alienware PC's. This was not a well made computer.
