Dell worked really hard to make the specs looks so nice, but almost everything they not listed on the specs page are cheapest. I just can't get it why we spend $300 on CPU but only spend $5 on cooling?

• To tune your system, go to Alienware Command Center and select out of 4 different thermal profiles that will help you manage system temperatures as well as performance output to your preference. These include Cool, Quiet, Balanced, and Performance thermal profiles.
• If you see CPU temperatures rising beyond 100°C on Alienware Command Center, please contact support and they will take care of your issue - https://dell.to/2Inbc8F.

Had to have motherboard replaced within two weeks

They sent out a serviceman who had to replace the Motherboard. Seems to be functioning properly at present. I would suggest purchasing the extended warranty as an insurance policy.

Terrible

It's about 50 percent if it will recognize the monitor when turned on. Randomly wakes up several times a night. Been working 6 days a week 12 hour days. Finally contacted Dell and they are saying it's not their problem... 10 past my return date Best buy will not take it back... Still trying to work with Dell but I'm not holding my breath. Wasted 2k$ on this.

Horrible desktop

I would never recommend this to anyone spend your money on anything but this thing. If it was only $1200 then it would be worth it

1. Close all open windows.
2. Press the Windows logo key + X key on the keyboard.
3. Click Control Panel.
4. Click System and Security.
5. Under Security and Maintenance, select Troubleshoot common problems.
6. Under System and Security, click Run maintenance tasks.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions and prompts to complete the process.
8. Restart the PC.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had 3 alienware computers.The last 1 was area 51 which I never had issue with.I have had nothing but problems with this 1 concerning playing games online.i play a lot eso and steam games.after month of trying tedious updates to drivers and various support ideas I still have problems which make games unplayable.Having 2 gpu is not plus when playing old games like fallout4 fps has to be set at max 60 and have to ensure nvidia gpu is be used.i will take long hard look at nexy computer I buy and it wont be Alienware.also it sounds like cement mixer when fans come on.

I’ll start off by saying I love this PC. The design is flawlessly executed… the lunar light model is amazing and elegant. It has RGB and is sleek and stylish. The specs are amazing. 16GB DDR4 memory allows me to have multiple programs open with no slow down. The 512 GB SSD make loading screens almost a thing of the past. NVIDIA GE FORCE RTX 2080 SUPER 8GB GPU is everything you could hope for in graphics. The over-clocking tools and PC monitoring that come stock in the Alienware Command Center make every game playable at high graphic levels with no fps lost. Included are an Intel core i7-9700 Processor and 2x USB type-c which you would expect. Plus 12 additional USB ports. This PC really can do it all. Streaming is excellent as are normal computing functions. If you just need a reliable gaming experience on a top tier PC, this is for you. It’s extremely quiet which is also a big thing… my other gaming PC sounds like it has a jet engine somewhere inside. From playing Rainbow Six Siege, Apex Legends and Destiny 2, this PC out performs the PC I bought a year ago in every way. My only complaint is that the mouse and keyboard are not up to the gaming capabilities of this PC. Dell should have included their better gaming options. My monitor will need to be upgraded to support the full capability of this machine. Many gamers build their own PC’s and that is not my strong suit. I appreciate the use of quality components in this PC. Strongly recommended.
