A grand CGI fueled spectacle that one would expect to see from a James Cameron adaptation of a Japanese manga series. A well executed production, other than the obvious set up for a sequel which seems the be the pattern with Cameron these days, with a good balance between effects and story. Extra credit for being one of the few Blu-rays still being released in 3D.

I hesitated buying this film, I've been disappointed in other adaptions simialar to this. The actors all did a great job, with effects and story line were great. I really hope there is a sequel to this movie.

Great movie keep true to the book. The CGI is seamless worth the chance to watch if you can.

Missed this in theaters, and sorely regret not seeing it in IMAX 3D. However, the 3D Blu Ray does not disappoint at all. My only hope is that if a sequel is planned, its gotta be in 3D also. Long live 3D!

This movie battle Angel is just like the stories in the manga and just like the cartoon from 1992

Japanese Manga brought to the big screen in a awesome way. Rosa Rivera was a great choice to act the part of Alita. Fight sequences were choreographed so well that it felt like a true martial arts movie.

For just a few more dollars, you get an actually perfect looking steelbook design, the Blu-ray’s (that has the bonus features), the digital version, the 4K disc, and the 3D Blu-ray (which I haven’t viewed since I don’t personally own a 3D player or TV)- which is the version I hear is the best.... after viewing the movie, I can see why. Lots of sci-fi action scenes!

I love the blend of cgi and love action in this film. It’s beautiful and lends itself well to the anime storyline. The 3D adds depth without being distracting or hurting my eyes. I hope they make a sequel.

This is, without a doubt, one of the best, if not the best live-action versions of an anime/manga title I have ever seen. If you are a fan of the original manga, or the anime version, you must see this film.

Great movie. Watched it previously and when it went on sale decided to get my own copy.

Movie is great as long as Disney releases part 2 in the future for the conclusion else just wait till it's in Netflix to watch it. If I knew this movie did not have a conclusion I would not have brought it.

I think they did a good job with this movie. Pretty much the same story line from the anime and they did a great job with the graphics! Also...its in the form of a REALLY COOL Best Buy SteelBook case!

I really enjoyed this one, its probably the best anime to live action translation I've seen and sets things up for a sequel that wouldn't be forced since there is more to the story from the source material.

The summary says it all. Incredible visually. These guys are masterful at staging incredible action sequences. An interesting story concept. But it's the visuals that literally burst off the screen.

This movie was better than I was expecting. The graphics and special effects were on point. There was lots of action and great acting. They left it open for a sequel and I hope they follow through with it.

I knew of the Alita manga but have never read it until I saw the Alita movie. I've seen most of Robert Rodriguez's work and James Cameron's as well, so just seeing their names attached, I knew I'd enjoy it.

First, love how this release has both the 4K and 3D disc in the same package. Really wish we saw that more often. Next, both discs look and sound excellent. Finally, Alita is a great film. Highly recommend!

Wife and I saw at show first and liked it so much we bought the bluray and watched it again. we enjoyed it just as much as the first time. Good super hero movie with the hero being a women. worth getting.
