Buyer Beward
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I hate that my 1 star review will bring the average down, but I felt it was important to post this. I cannot comment on the functionality and accuracy of this product because I had to cancel my order due to discovering that my phone is not on the compatibility list. When I called Kardia customer support to explain the phone I have is three generations newer than what was listed in the compatibility list, the response was to NOT purchase a KardiaMobile. Even though it may function, they cannot guarantee its accuracy. Although I absolutely appreciate Kardia's honesty regarding this, the use of this product is severely restricted. What if i did have a compatible phone but then purchased a new phone that had not yet been evaluated by Kardia? I would no longer be able to use the KardiaMobile. The lag time in evaluation of phones by Kardia significantly reduces their market.

Pay to use

Of course not. Because half the features are blocked. $100/year to use this device. No screen, no lights, no buttons. I wanted to like this, I paid extra thinking I'll get something good. Nope. Just a subscription product. This should be free with a subscription.

Posted .Hi Adam, A subscription is not required to use the KardiaMobile with the Kardia app. Basic users who opt to not upgrade to KardiaCare still have the ability to detect and monitor basic arrhythmias using the included features in the Kardia App. KardiaCare is designed to help you get the most out of your Kardia device and provide you with deeper, more personalized insights about your heart health, but is not required to use the KardiaMobile and Kardia app.

AliveCor KardiaMobile 6L NON-SUPPORT
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used my KardiaMobile 6L on occasion for 2 years and it now keeps rapidly draining the battery. I called AliveCor support to get help and was told I will need to buy another new device for $150.

$10 Monthly Account Fee required to use device!

I don't anticipate using this device on a regular basis, so I was disappointed that there was no description or mention of a monthly or annual fee to use the device

The subscription fee you mentioned is for our KardiaCare service, which provides additional features and benefits such as unlimited cloud storage, personalized heart health reports, and Clinician Review credits. However, we do offer a free basic service that allows you to take EKG readings, record symptoms, and share your readings with your doctor.
