Very easy to work with and doesn't require a bluetooth or wireless connnection to function. It uses the phone's microphone instead. Only real "downside" to this is it does need to be in close proximity to the phone for detection and NFC must be turned off. It does have a monthly for a free "diagnosis" of EKG results once every 90 days. But if you're just looking to monitor your own results and send them on to your doctor, it allows for a PDF to be saved to the phone and forwarded on. It even allows for guest usage so it doesn't add to your personal stored results.

Bought this for my 70 year old mom with blood pressure issues. She's always concerned about her heart. Now she can get an EKG right on her phone and know she's not going to have a heart attack. Shown her doctor and he's now having her email EKG history from her phone.

Bought this for my mom and it makes me and her feel safer because if her heart goes into Afib like before she has this on her phone and can check it immediately. This was a doctors recommendation and with my rewards I only paid $60 for it. Her health is priceless. She and I are very pleased on how well and easy this works with her Samsung phone.

This device is excellent. Does what it supposed to do and can give you some peace of mind. Don’t get too excited if it tells you that it doesn’t recognize your heart rate pattern if you feel fine. You can download the information to your doctor or cardiologist.

Works great for basic EKG. Preforms an Excellant EKG showing your current heart signal. I wish I would have bought the next model to get more heart related images and readings.

As I'm getting older this is a good cost-effective way to do a quick check on my heart. Though it is specifically designed to detect atrial fibrillation, it is also useful for determining overall heart condition in the comfort of your own home. Definitely not a substitute for medical EKGs. It can be tricky to get it to read properly on the phone app, keeping the phone and the EKG Monitor very close together allows it to read properly, For me, the subscription service at $10/month is not beneficial, but it could be worthwhile to someone that needs to track their heart condition.

This is such a great item to have handy when you want to double check your heart rate.

This KARDIA device is very easy to use. The instructions are well written. It was recommended after my cardiac ablation procedure. It helps greatly in communicating with my cardiologist. It gives me confidence that I am OK whenever I am not sure. It is much cheaper than a trip to the ER.

easy to use, set up and does as advertised what they don't tell you is the basic model is just that, and to get any benefit from the monitoring, you have to upgrade or commit to a monthly subscription -- seems like a lot of nickel and dining

I recently had a hard attack and, having seen a commercial of this, thought this might be a useful tool to have with me. I'm able to check my heart rhythms anytime or anywhere. It has become a daily routine for me and only takes under a minute to get my results. It gives me peace of heart. I thought $79 was try able. I'm satisfied and would recommend this product.

It really works. You need to take a minute to wet your fingers and get the reading just right but otherwise pretty amazing for such a small device. I am used to hospital grade EKG equipment, so rating of 4 stars is just my critique of the rhythm recognition that I am used to versus this basic user level.

This is an excellent device to give you a clear reading of your heart’s activity. It is quick, easy, and accurate.

Works as advertised, but provides limited results unless the user purchases a 'plus' annual subscription. It comes with an attachment with which the monitor can be carried with your cell phone. If you have AFIB, or flutter, or other heart rhythm issues the monitor can provide your physician (or the ER) with information about an event. This device was recommended by the electrophysiology cardiology nurse practitioner I saw for a one-time episode of AFIB.
