Helpful for basic rhythm recognition

You need to take a minute to wet your fingers and get the reading just right but otherwise pretty amazing for such a small device. I am used to hospital grade EKG equipment, so rating of 4 stars is just my critique of the rhythm recognition that I am used to versus this basic user level.

A Useful Tool for People With Heart Rhythm Problem

It comes with an attachment with which the monitor can be carried with your cell phone. If you have AFIB, or flutter, or other heart rhythm issues the monitor can provide your physician (or the ER) with information about an event. This device was recommended by the electrophysiology cardiology nurse practitioner I saw for a one-time episode of AFIB.

Helped with palpitation evaluation

I had it with me on the golf course when I developed symptoms. The report of possible atrial fibrillation with a rapid rate (along with my symptoms) caused me to go to the ER . I'm presently undergoing further evaluation.

It is a little tricky trying to get your finger placement to stay consistent so you can get a good reading. Other than that I would recommend it!

What they don't tell you that after the first month of using it, you must pay 9.95 per month for the premium service. Can't find anyway to download to my PC. Must go to the cloud and for that you pay the premium.
