It does seem to take an EKG.

It is a come-on to get you to enroll in a program that is supposedly medically supervised. It is hard for me to get my fingers positioned correctly to create a good signal. The next time I see my cardiologist I will see what he says. This was a gift to me.

Product stopped working when iPhone needed update had to update and restart the phone for unit to work again.

KardiaMobile EKG Monitor Not Reliable

OK product but limited in scope

But it is not useful for people with short episodes of arrhythmia, because it takes time for set up and launching the app.

Not recommended for parkinsons pts

Was unable to use on my husband I assume because he has Parkinson's and fingers kept moving. We tried it on others and it worked fine ppo so we are thinking it was because of his Parkinson's. Would not recommend for people with Parkinson's.

Simple to use and track

Tracks my heart history and allows me to share the information with my doctor.

Also allows you to add your own blood pressure readings and any applicable notes for that particular reading.

This one was for my husband and it’s not as easy to use and keep track of. I realize this isn’t a Best Buy issue, but the Kardia company.
