Just an average kart racer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After hearing that a kart racer was coming to the PS4, I decided to give this game a shot. The racing mechanics feel fine and like your standard arcade kart racing game, though they do feel floaty. You can drift to gain small speed boosts and use weapons. It's your standard kart racer with a Career mode with different cups featuring series of races, Championship modes, Quick race and Time attack. The powerup system is unique and does add a nice touch to the game. Graphics are decent, though colorful, but nothing spectacular. Although there are is a large selection of racers to choose from, every racer drives exactly the same. Career mode is very easy and you can finish everything in under 3 hours. Overall, it's a mediocre kart racer that could have had more polish and gameplay features.
