Its loud enough to hear over the shower and of course its water resistant. Have not tried it outdoors yet but is awesome for small rooms.

But loving it, sounds great. Only 2 bad things that it has are: - When you connect it to your phone to play, the volume is really loud, you have to turn it down right away. Don't know why it turns the volume super high when connected. - Second, it doesn't play music once the battery reaches 20%. I find it odd why it would remain on, but won't play once at 20%.
