My wife wanted a portable speaker for when she goes to the pool, and this was a great deal and easy to connect to her phone.

This tiny boom box is so loud! I love it! It is exactly what I needed to hear anything playing on my laptop...Now I can watch movies on it and actually hear it!

I didn’t think it would be as good as it is. The sound quality is very nice and surprisingly loud. One downside is that battery life isn’t that long (about 3 hrs). Other then that pretty great

The altec speaker Is so powerful to be so small. The battery could last longer and give an indication before it runs out. Also the USB charging cable could be longer.

I’ve purchased more Bluetooth speakers than I can count. I have several Best Buy in-house branded ones that I have been happy with, but really was hoping an Altec Lansing brand would impress me in a big way. It does not. The price was good, the water resistant feature is good and the packaging is good. The speaker itself feels cheap and light weight. The plastic box it came in is heavier plastic than the “rugged” speaker itself. I will keep it and I will use it - but I just need to get it through my head that you get what you pay for - No matter the brand or the suggested retail.

This little guy works like a charm we have it in out two car garage and it wasn’t even all the way up and you can hear it. Definitely worth the money.
