I purchased this speaker on sale as a closing gift for my client. Closing was delayed by a few weeks so I decided to give this a shot and compare it against my JBL Xtreme portable speaker. What a surprise! It's a great sounding speaker that's super clear and crisp. The added lighting is awesome and yes, it floats in the pool! We enjoyed pushing this around in the water and enjoying the tremendous sound. Of course, had to catch it on sale again and purchase one for my client because we kept the original. Great buy for the $$$

This is the perfect outdoor Bluetooth portable speaker. Waterproof, great sound, cool LED lights and a great carry handle. We use it outside on our deck. Run time on the battery has been exceptional. The sound is fantastic. Great package and a great value. I'll be adding a second speaker next season when we expand the size of our deck. We stream SiriusXM and YouTube for all-night entertainment when enjoying adult beverages with our friends and neighbors around the firepit.

This unit has a nice battery life. It sounds decent and it is not super bulky to carry around.

I purchased this for my husband for our backyard pool area. After reading on the box that it was water proof we tested it by throwing it in the pool. Works great! Good sound quality and lights up to illuminate pool at night time.

Directly compared these, in my quiet room to the following: Sony SRS-XB41, Marshall Kilburn II, Altec Lansing Sound Bucket, JBL extreme 2, and the ONYX 5... this rock box blew them all away. The only one that could compare to it was the Sony, but still the rock box beat it!! The sound quality is fantastic and the bass is amazing!! At lower volumes the clarity from the JBL and Sony I think were better and a plus they were smaller so better portability. BUT if you want something loud and boomin that’s not that much bigger, AND you don’t want to drop $400-500 on the JBL Boombox. GET THIS!

This speaker has amazing sound quality! Clear audio with great bass, and the light show will definitely get a party started. Also links perfectly with other Altec speakers, I linked it with a super lifejacket and a lifejacket jolt and all 3 played together perfectly.

Did research on all the outdoor speakers on the market and this one was the one for me. Great bang for my buck as it gives me exactly what I need without having to break the bank. Great volume level, quality sound, and fun design. The charge holds for a good period of time and has floating capability, great for camping at the lake.

Purchased this speaker for my grandson and he is really happy with it. It has Bluetooth and a different variety of lights to choose from. Sound is very good and it is very loud. So I am pleased with price of it.

The sound is arguably 5 stars and the battery is better than most. Pairing is a great option too. The product boasts that it can float in water, like in a pool. However, with it covered under a canopy it was left out in a mild rain storm for two hours where a mist must have apparently got on the speaker. Unnoticeable until it started to completely rust. It still sounds great but not looks like something from the dump. Not only is it not water proof but it's not even water resistant in mild conditions. I expected much more quality.

This speaker has plenty of volume, great sound quality and all in a fairly compact size!!! Only complaint I have is you gotta charge it with a wall charger, would've been better if you could charge it with a 12V source.

Huge upgrade over my smaller BT speaker with sweet deep bass. and for a good price so it can't be beat. Seems to be able to take a beating but I haven't pushed my luck on that.

Speaker sounds really good; the bass has a solid hold to it. Have not tested waterproof features yet but overall sound and build quality is on par with higher end speakers.

There are a lot of choices in the Bluetooth speaker space, but this one hits on the two most important factors: 1) It sounds great. 2) It takes a licking. We gave it to my 10-year-old for Christmas and he uses it with his tablet to play music, watch movies and play games. He can't wait for the weather to warm up so he can play DJ by the pool.

Looked at many different speakers in this price range the sound quality and bass response was the best of them long battery life and waterproof
