I’ve purchased various sizes in their smaller speakers but this large one has by far been my favorite. I took it river rafting and it performed to its expectations. I would definitely recommend it.

In connecting it wired to my projector though it is really quiet. I believe this is an output issue for my projector, and for that reason I give it 5 stars!

Altec Lansing RockBox XL Review

This once is even better! The older model required D batteries. But it had an iPod dock (long before Bluetooth was popular). This one absolutely does the job. The sound is incredible. I can only dream of a model that works with Apple AirPlay. Maybe one day... But for now, this is a great purchase.

Altec boom box

This was $450 less and times are tough ... went with this model . I own two other models by altec and always been pleased with them.
