only worked good for a week and then wouldn't work correctly. the pictures would not show.

The plug burned out, I know this because we bought 2 , still works but plug doesn’t

So lets start by saying I am a tech guy, so a frame should not be hard to setup, right? Wrong. Very very wrong. It took about an hour and a half to set up, as I kept getting decode errors. So I google it. The manufacturer is like "here, it needs an update." *Performs update* *Nothing changes* *Throws frame* After troubleshooting further, it turns out the frame does not like certain pictures. Which pictures you may ask? I have no idea. All photos of mine were formatted the same, with some resolution differences. What I did was put the photos on one by one and delete whichever came up with a decode error. After the initial set up it looks and works great. To those people reviewing who say it is stretched or looks weird, that is a simple setting change. Honestly though, if this wasn't an anniversary gift I know my girlfriend would love, I probably would have taken it back. But nonetheless, it is setup after a painful amount of time and looks great.

Picked up this frame at our nearby BB store as a gift for my elderly parents. The setup was super easy: Plug in the AC Adapter, turn it on, inserted my SD Card that I preloaded with lots of pictures of my kids, turned on auto slideshow and that was all. The pictures come out extremely bright and vibrant and the resolutions are HD quality. Every time I visit my parents, I load different pictures for them and they love it. It's just a picture frame, load images, turn the power on, my 8 year old can use it without any hiccups.

I ordered my frame from Best Buy after deciding to actually display some of the thousands of digital pictures I have taken over the years. I am very happy with my choice of the Aluratek frame. This frame was really easy to set up, the picture quality is outstanding and many of the features that I wasn't necessarily looking for have been a bonus. In particular, the ability to play videos is awesome. Great frame! Great buy!

This digital frame is very convenient to use and operate. Adding photos via bluetooth is a game changer and the motion detector setting is a great way to conserve energy while still ensuring that the frame is getting its use while people are in the room. A little pricey but worth the investment.

The initial startup of this product is simple, including adding the pictures to the memory of the digital frame. However, when attempting to play the side show, it tells you that the image cannot be displayed. After spending a long while on the actual website for this product, and not finding any helpful information there, I started to poke around in the settings in the actual frame itself. I was able to finally figure out how to delete my three previous attempts of over 1,000 pictures each. I then added just one picture at a time, to find each of them added twice. One of the files were viewable, the other was seemingly corrupted. After figuring out how to delete one picture at a time, and discovering which was the corrupted file from the normal one, I spend the next couple of hours weeding through each file to distinguish between them. If it's going to save the pictures twice for which ever reason, it should at least give the option to delete multiple files at once instead of one picture at a time. I feel as if I was to buy an SD card, this whole process would have been easier, because this product has 4GB of storage to begin with. Once I actually get the product to work properly I might change my mind on the rating that I have given it.
