The initial startup of this product is simple, including adding the pictures to the memory of the digital frame. However, when attempting to play the side show, it tells you that the image cannot be displayed. After spending a long while on the actual website for this product, and not finding any helpful information there, I started to poke around in the settings in the actual frame itself. I was able to finally figure out how to delete my three previous attempts of over 1,000 pictures each. I then added just one picture at a time, to find each of them added twice. One of the files were viewable, the other was seemingly corrupted. After figuring out how to delete one picture at a time, and discovering which was the corrupted file from the normal one, I spend the next couple of hours weeding through each file to distinguish between them. If it's going to save the pictures twice for which ever reason, it should at least give the option to delete multiple files at once instead of one picture at a time. I feel as if I was to buy an SD card, this whole process would have been easier, because this product has 4GB of storage to begin with. Once I actually get the product to work properly I might change my mind on the rating that I have given it.

I purchased this digital frame 2.5 years ago, and I'm extremely disappointed. Unfortunately, it recently stopped working. When I reached out to Customer Support for assistance, they were unhelpful and did not provide a solution. Overall, I'm very dissatisfied with this product and the lack of support I received.

This is the best easier digital photo frame i have ever seen. Just uploaded few photos into memory stick and plugged into back side of this digital frame and it was nice to see some of our old photos on digital frame. I also operate remote to skip or to fast forwards photos when any of my guests wants to go over fast.

This digital frame is very convenient to use and operate. Adding photos via bluetooth is a game changer and the motion detector setting is a great way to conserve energy while still ensuring that the frame is getting its use while people are in the room. A little pricey but worth the investment.

I bought it a couple of weeks ago, good product, actually is in the room and meet the specifications. The price is according to the product. Overall it's a good buy

Bought this item and the remote control was not included in the package. One phone call to Aluratek support and I had a remote in 3 days. Outstanding customer service and am also happy with the product.

You get a nice product for the price. It is not a top of the line product but you are not paying for high end. Some reviewers have commented that it is small but it is much larger than a cell phone and is great for sending pics to great-grandparents who may have trouble getting pics from a cell phone or email; and that is the purpose of this one. I had a problem with the original item that I purchased after using for a few weeks, but contacted Aluratek and they replaced the original with a newer model. The company really stands behind their product and were extremely nice to deal with.

Product is as expected. It’s is fun to see so many photos rotated throughout the day! Enjoying it very much!

First, the remote. You have to press the button you want at least twice before it registers. Second, even though my pictures were facing the right position when I downloaded them onto the frame, half of them flipped sideways in the process. The directions say it's common with pictures you take from your phone and to remedy the situation, you have to download this program to your computer to edit the pictures. Only catch is you have to pay for it. No thank you! (By the way, there is a "rotate" feature on the remote, however it will not hold the rotation. Once it moves to the next picture on the frame, it's back to being sideways again.) And third, some of my pictures didn't even load. Where that picture was on the frame, it read "error", or something to that effect. Do not buy this, it will be nothing but a headache.

Very accurate compared to other devices , fast dependable, during this times there is no room for error , I bought a few different ones before this device and was constantly getting mixed readings , I bought this aluratek and it has been consistent.

I replaced an old Sony...sad they no longer make digital frames. This product is about one tenth the quality of the Sony. Pictures are grainy, and unless you are the exact right height for where you place the frame, the picture is either very dark (if you are a rew inches shorter) or totally faded (if you are a few inches shorter). And the tilt level is fixed, so even if you want to get it just the right height for only you, you'd need a higher or lower table! If you choose multi-pix on the screen, they become quite small leaving much of the screen unused. This is truly an awful product...and apparently Aluratek has little, if any, competition. Extremely disappointed.

This digital picture frame was very easy to setup and use!! It displays pictures well, and overall is a great product!!

I purchased this digital picture frame for my son's birthday. I downloaded pictures to an SD card and gave it to him. Much to my surprise, many of the pictures don't show up. the screen just says..."Decode error' Then on many of the other pictures, the bottom half of the picture is all distorted and some even have this white ghostly color over the picture. I removed the SD card and put it in my picture frame to see if something was wrong with the card. It played every picture and none of them were distorted or had this white color on them.

Our daughter loves being able to look at all her pictures and watch our home videos.

I purchased the Aluratek ASDMPF09 from Best Buy for my mother. After downloading over a 150 pics, I found that many of the pics did not display properly. The instructions did not address this issue so I called the tech support and was told to go to their web site to download a program, I tried downloading the program but was unsuccessful. I finally went thru all the pics and rotated the pics on my PC..I then deleted all the pic originally downloaded and installed the pics that were rotated properly. I then noticed that the slide show would stop, I went back to their web site and found out that any pic with a resolution above 1600 X 1200 would stop the slide show. I then had to go thru every pic again and resize the pic for 1600 X 1200. Then delete all the pics on the frame and then download the pics with the proper resolution.Now I see the pics do not fill all of the display and your 10" frame is now 7"or less and the slide show still stops after going thru the pics one time

I received the Aluratek ASDMPF09 as a gift from a relative. Let me start off by saying that the frame is not compatible with my MacBook Pro. It says it is on the box but I don't think it is. It will not run pictures downloaded from my Mac. I tried an SD card, A Flash Drive and downloaded pictures directly from my Mac. No luck at all. I called Aluratek Tech support twice. Tried everything they suggested and nothing. They suggested returning it to Best Buy. I knew that that would be a problem as I do not have the receipt nor does my relative who purchased the frame for me as a gift. So I tried for 20 minutes to get BB customer service to at least giving me a store credit. Not a refund but a store credit. They would not even consider it. Since I could not produce a receipt they said they could not help me. I have purchased thousands of dollars of electronics from BB over the years so I at least thought they would be more accommodating but they were not. Considering the way I was treated by them this last time I think it's time I find another place to purchase my electronics.

If you have an iPhone and want to use the video from it don't get this or any Aluratek model! If you use XP on your PC don't get this! Nowhere on the packaging or manual does it give the supported file formats. It says it plays video but not which ones. It will not play a .mov file from an iPhone! If I could give this negative stars I would for the amount of time wasted on this. Plus, BestBuy support was of no help!

Originally purchased the 8" screen, which had a line down the side of the picture. Picture quality was poor, so I thought it was because the screen was defective. Exchanged this item for a new one and the images were still distorted and did not have good resolution so I returned for this 10" digital frame. This would not even turn on and looked like someone had pressed too hard on the glass. I returned this product and am done with buying anything from the Aluratek brand.
