It does what it says and I was satisfied. However I found my old webcam and returned it. This webcam does the job though.

The camera works well for me, a beginner. It is a wide-angle camera, so it is not suitable for all purposes.

though this product works fine, the packaging and user manual etc. imply that this is not from a matured company. I am not even allowed to get a return label to ship it back.

For some reason, it doesn't work. When logging into a zoom meeting, the camera freezes.

No driver on the company website and no customer support on the site.

I just ordered this webcam a week ago and used it for a couple of days. It is easy to set up with my laptop, and video quality as shown in Zoom meeting is good. I also liked the design of putting it on table instead clipping it to the top of monitor. This make it easy to move it around with no worry that it may fall off the monitor. Overall I like it and would recommend to friend to buy.

I just received this webcam, I plugged it in and my Windows recognized it right away, no problems. Honestly, I don't know much about webcams, but this seems like a very no frills straightforward option. All the specs seem correct so it's recording in 1080, ~30FPS. The image was a bit grainy at first, so I adjusted the settings in software to smooth it out a bit and it looks much better. If you already have a microphone and are looking for a simple webcam that's decent quality (for 2020 seeing as how there's all this ultra mega insane HD out there), this seems like a decent solution. If you need something very high-quality and super professional, you'll probably have to drop a few more dollars elsewhere.

I just received my Aluratek HD Webcam (HD1080p) and was worried about how to set it up. My laptop camera is on the blink and on the advice of Geek Squad to purchase an external webcam as a simple solution as the more expensive optioin of repairs would take several weeks with no guarantee that it could be repaired. We placed the order and it has arrived in less than a week. It couldn't have been easier to install as Aluratek has included very thorough step by step instructions. Easy Peasy for a tech challenged individual like me. And the resolution is excellent. I would recommend this product.

Rarely write poor reviews but this one is deserving. Got this NOTING it said Mac compatible. Plug it in... nothing. Tried it with another Mac... nothing. Reached out to Aluratek IT and did get a reply back. They said firmware needed to be updated.... with MicroSD card and 2 files they sent me. Nice thing they couldn't create one that is actually Mac Compatible! Great... I don't HAVE a microSD. So asked around, found a friend, transferred the files to him, he put them on the MicroSD, I get the card from him and plug into the Webcam. I follow the instructions and NOTHING. Did it again start to finish... NOTHING. Wrote back to CS and said send me one with free shipping (and free return if it's still crap) and I won't write a bad review. They told me to return it to Best Buy and get one that works for my Mac. Nice customer service eh? Thx for the run-around. AND Best Buy wanted this to be returned w/in 14 days. All the trouble shooting took longer than that. BB did auth return, but geez! Don't get this if you have a Mac!
