It would work if it were plugged in!

Use Bluetooth headphones w/ TV

Just be sure to connect it directly to an audio output. Works great when paired up with the 'Insignia™ - 1/4"-to-3.5mm Mini Headphone Jack Adapter - Black'. Listen straight from your audio receivers' 1/4" output with the adapter.

I used this on my father-in-laws TV at the nursing home. It made it much easier for him to hear his TV without it being so loud as to bother his roommate.

Lack of communication

After about ten days of numerous attempts to pair 4 different pairs of headphones as well as troubleshooting via calling Aluratek’s tech support and watching countless YouTube videos I decided it wasn’t worth all my time. I was hopeful that this would work but I guess it just wasn’t meant to be.

Turn older tech BLUE (toothed)

But it's not Bluetooth enabled - until now. Thanks to the Aluratek Bluetooth Transmitter, I can now use my Bluetooth headset to listen to my tracks. Works as advertised and highly recommended.

I can listen to the tv while my spouse sleeps or while Im using my sewing machine My spouse can listen to the tv at the same time or I can turn the sound down on the tv and up on the ear plugs. LOVE IT!

Excellent Results

It works like a charm, we are very pleased.
