Aluratek tv tuner/dvr

This helps the indoor antenna to work. It works great! Less money than buying a TV with a tuner to get local. Money well spent.

Helpful to get HDMI out of coax cable

Now I get full hi-def video and audio from OTA TV signal, which can be selected through the AV unit. This is helpful when using a projector (modern flat screen TVs don't need this)

Convertor box with recording

It was super easy to get the replacement. It was easy to setup. Just getting used to going by military time was my only hard part I was having trouble with at first.

The bad, the audio(words) did not match the mouth. Would absolutely drive me nuts. Great picture, great audio...just if they were together...

The tuner on our tv stopped working after we moved it to a new house and can’t tune in to our attic antenna so the geek squad recommended this. It works great and the bonus is that it’s also a recorder.

Especially for the price (frequently on sale). Good tuner. The remote is a bit small and with more limited range than another similar brand, but you adjust to it.
