Good for receiving local channels if you are trying to cut the cable. I also had an HDTV and thought this product might extend the channels I would receive but it didn't.

I have a projector so this helped me get tv on it. The dvr function and time shift is an added bonus. Works awesome.

This recorder works for only about 3 to 4 months, and breaks down, and I have to buy a replacement!

So I recently cut the cord, no more cable tv. I purchased the tv converter box so I can plug in my external hard drive to record tv programs. The box works perfectly.

This is taking some experimenting to master. I keep the product manual handy when setting up recording, etc.

This equipment does a great job at a great price. I am very happy with my choice and will buy another if I need another tuner for my antenna.

I bought this converter to replace another (different brand) that was starting to fail. I used my existing digital antenna and connected to our analog TV. It works great.

Good box but doesn’t last. Im ordering my 3rd one now… I’d try another brand but unfortunately my rack is cut to fit this unit.

Does what it's supposed to. I use it for an old CRT TV to connect the antennae.

My mother loves it, her last one gave up on her after so many years. She loves this little box for her shows and news!

I used this to eliminate the FIOS set-top box when connecting to my projector. Since projector doesn't have a tuner this served as the tuner, after little bit of back-and-forth I was able to set this up to pull in local channels, obviously no premium channels like ESPN, CNBC, CNN, etc.

Purchased to record out of area football games for later viewing. Works with over the air broadcasts. Does the job! Very satisfied.

Very good price but you have to manually put in the names of all of the channels! We bought 2 units and they pull a lot of channels on both TVs but we find we lose some of the channels and have to run the channel search again and rename them all again!

easy to use and works great. use it ever day since it was purchased. very happy with the product would buy again if the present went bad .

We bought this to put an order tv in the garage. Once I figured out how to get it programmed, it works great.

The purchase price for this item was heavily discounted - as it should have been. The software is very buggy; audio and video tend to fall out of sync after changing channels, the recording function has failed at least twice, and the remote must be pointed precisely at the unit or the command may fail. A request to customer support asking if there was a software/firmware update for this unit went unanswered. Buy at your own risk.

Was ok. TV too old and only had 1 HDMI port, so I was unable to use my Roku remote at the same time as the box.

Works just like the packaging and on line reviews say.
