Great price packed with options. Works great with old tv

I should have listened to the other reviews about this product. It is by far the worst tuner I've ever purchased. Here's why: 1. The unit SUPER saturates all of the video output so people start looking red and video starts to get distorted. There's no way to fix this internally. You'll need to desaturate your TV set by A LOT, so playing games look washed out now. 2. The audio and video get out of sync very often with this unit, the video will start to lag 0.5 to 1.5 seconds behind the audio and the unit will not self correct 3. This unit likes to crash. Like, a lot. The unit will freeze an spit out some weird UNIX commands (This must be a linux box), an then that's it, you gotta restart it, it pooped the bed. I love the fact that the developers took the time to throw tetris as a game in this unit, but didn't find the time to properly test this unit before sending it out to production and the sales floor. STAY AWAY FROM THIS UNIT! I suggest trying to find an older Zenith or RCA unit, those worked SO MUCH BETTER.

Works mainly... but interface is dated ... as is the front display.. Is certainly no frills ..

perfect for intended use...too bad I didn't understand the intended use...Had to return it because it wasn't what I thought it was.

Reliable piece of technology for tho use of use not yet ready or just to cheap to upgrade our tech.

The remote is cheap had to put better batteries in it and doesn't turn the volume up on the T.V

This devise is the second one i have had and both failed after a couple months. When it work it was fine for picking up stations. But doest last.

have not tried to record with it. may not have the right connections to do so

There is a lag so Trimester and I will have to re-enter the channel I’m on because the sound is off, and the guide is very Minimal

It works okay. I can not change channels with the remote.

While I get better signal. I am constantly having to push batteries back in remote, in order to change channels. Very frustrating.

My TV had a broken antenna coaxial input connection and I thought I could add the converter box with AV cable connections as a work around. Didn't work. The audio and the video connections were out of sync. Best Buy was very good about taking both items back. I gave in and bought a new TV.

Trash product. This is the third I've purchased and they've all stopped working. Avoid like the plague.

I needed the digital tuner only for the audio output. For that use it is adequate. The TV picture could be better.
