The product is great. We just have a hard time with hearing the sound

Requires flash drive to record. Have yet to record anything, but it did help antenna reception..

I never had a digital converter box like this one I think it’s going to be better than the one i have now can’t wait to have it hooked up this is my first purchase with Best Buy and will not be my last

The only reason it’s getting one star is because that’s the least I can give. It is cheap and flimsy. The remote is strange to hold, very thin and awkward.

had it for 8 months. stopped working, a capacitor blew up inside. when it was "working", it would give me problems where it would not recognize the external 2 TB SSD, had to cycle power and remove the device and reinsert it. Best Buy would not allow a return or any other options than to contact the manufacturer. so I will buy a different brand on Amazon.

Product stopped working and I was forced to take gift card for the purchase simply because it was shipped to the house and I paid for it with my debit card

This quit working two weeks ago, and since it is past the return date there's nothing I can do. It worked great until then, but is garbage now with no reason.

Product arrived on quickly & in good shape. Stil working fine today.

This unit and its remote are very good. Easy setup. The remote keys are color coded and spaced. The unit produces good output for the old non-HD TV.

Not so happy with this. I got it to record off of antenna fed TV. So far I haven’t been able to record over one hour. I know it’s capable of more, but I can’t figure out how to do it. I don’t want to pay the price that cable companies charge for a Recorder, but I missing a lot of opportunities to record and this whole item has been a big disappointment

Menu was horrible. Had to format flash drive multiple times. Lost recordings, and just died after two to three months. Power just went out on it, out of the blue. Total garbage, spend a little more for something of quality.

It produced a better picture but every other channel it would be muted and had two back up and down to get it unmuted I returned it and was replace with a one with more problems

works well with a quality antenna on an old school tv. a cheap one is not recommended but you also don't have to spend an arm and a leg for one either.

I Bought this Converter for Over the Air Broadcasts . I Already have My TV Hooked Up to a Good System . The Reason I Bought this Was that it Stated It Had a Built in Over the Air Video Recorder Which I Would have Loved to Have but It Would Not Work with My TV !

It works well as a TV receiver, but setting it up to record at a given time is quite another task - one I have not been able to do as yet. The directions are very poor and seem to leave out some important information - like how to set the time or the time to record!

EXCELLENT OVER THE AIR VIDEO RECORDER. JUST A HEADS UP, THE PLASTIC WRAPER COVERS THE WHOLE BOX AND NEEDS TO BE REMOVED FROM THE AIR VENTS ON TOP, OR IT WILL COLLECT HEAT.

have had to replace every 4 or 5 months. Not sure why I keep buying it . Don't want to pay for cable. Finally bought the BB warranty which will get me 1 replacement.

There's not real attention to the overall construction of the product. Only good for the short amount of time it works..
