It works well as a TV receiver, but setting it up to record at a given time is quite another task - one I have not been able to do as yet. The directions are very poor and seem to leave out some important information - like how to set the time or the time to record!

Perfect easy to set up with air antennae. Don’t pay the cable company for cable box to get was is broadcast for free. Amplified signal brought in 15 channels. Add your own memory stick and you have adverts recorder

I hooked this up on 2 different TV sets, and it only worked for a few hours. I had to unplug it to reset whenever I wanted to watch TV, or before I left the house if I wanted to record something. When it needs rest, it blocks every input on my tv. It blocked my Roku box, Amazon Fire Stick and the antenna signal. I returned it a week later, and would not recommend this to anyone.

The remote will only work if it is within 4 feet of the device. The display of the items recorded does not include the title nor channel. It is a very poorly designed product and should be avoided at all costs.

I am writing this review 3 months after the purchase and the converter no longer works. And of course it is no longer returnable. Don't waste your money!

have had to replace every 4 or 5 months. Not sure why I keep buying it . Don't want to pay for cable. Finally bought the BB warranty which will get me 1 replacement.

Great unit for the buck. Allow me to watch air TV without cable and no coax-adapter. This product is a much have if you bought a modern day TV where the manufacture did not add the coax connection.

This DTC TV converter works as stated! However no instructions on how to add an external HD for DVD recording.

Cancelled X-Finity and needed something to record my over the air programs. This unit fit the bill. Works great and was very easy to set up.

So far all is working well. I use it everyday and hopefully it’ll last longer than the other ones I purchased.

had it for 8 months. stopped working, a capacitor blew up inside. when it was "working", it would give me problems where it would not recognize the external 2 TB SSD, had to cycle power and remove the device and reinsert it. Best Buy would not allow a return or any other options than to contact the manufacturer. so I will buy a different brand on Amazon.

I was really impressed when I hooked up this Digital to Analog Converter Box. It has to many things that it does for me to use them all. It will record shows and movies and it can back track as it is recording with out loosing its spot. But I like the info that it gives about the shows and the signal strength of the show that you have just tuned into. It is a really great box, cost a little more then a lot of simpler boxes, but for what it is capable of doing it is well worth the money.

This converter box works as designed and seems well made. It took a little time to get set up, once I figured out that the tv had to be set to channel 3. It works well, though.
