Works better than described. Turned an old computer flat panel monitor into a television. Coupled with computer speakers and a Roku, it is not a Smart TV.

Product arrived on quickly & in good shape. Stil working fine today.

We purchased this as a replacement for our original unit. It was available in the store, easy to install, works well, and was reasonably priced.

Have a similar Homeworx that has worked without issue for over a year. This piece of crap just simply quit working a few weeks back and I had only used it a couple times. Another BIG issue with the Auratek unit is it does not play well with my Roku tv remote signal or the TCL tv I had it connected to when it died. If you are looking for a cheap DVR, don't pick this one.

Purchased on 7/23/2019. Used for about 2 hours a day. Stopped working on 8/10 - no lights, no signal, no nothing. Tested in multiple outlets in different rooms. Brought it to the store on 8/13 and it's "too late" to return it. Yet the box says "1 year warranty". VERY disappointed in both the product and the store response.

remote only turned the box on/off. All other functions were inoperable. Replaced with a Tablo 4th gen. The Tablo works as advertised.

Plugged it in, fired it up and Presto. With a tabletop "rabbit ears" antenna, plenty of stations found and locked in on.

had it for 8 months. stopped working, a capacitor blew up inside. when it was "working", it would give me problems where it would not recognize the external 2 TB SSD, had to cycle power and remove the device and reinsert it. Best Buy would not allow a return or any other options than to contact the manufacturer. so I will buy a different brand on Amazon.

Absolute cheap junk. Lasted less than 3 months only used it a couple times. Now the unit won't power on and is past its return date.

There's not real attention to the overall construction of the product. Only good for the short amount of time it works..
