it does record shows if you baby sit it a lot. It's a little complicated to use. hard to setup recurring shows, and not easy to select past recordings to watch. I ended up not using it.

We bought this to record a few over the air local stations but everytime we play the recordings they are pixelated. The box makes the live shows delayed in the fact the audio doesn't match the scenes on the ahow.

Great product for the price. Had a project to complete and this worked.

Aluratek provides a crystal clear "digital" picture when connected to a good antenna and receiving a strong signal.

The broadcast signal for the channels that the box received was excellent. However, the USB recordings of programs had intermittent pixelation (at least every 15 seconds). Plus, the recordings were in a strange format that a number of media players couldn't play. I returned the item to Best Buy about a week after I bought it with no hassle.

Works great. I use a $20 solid state drive in a $9 Sabrent usb hard drive enclosure (model EC-UASP) instead of using a usb thumb drive.

Great to replace your VCR or DVR with. Program to record your favorite show or event. Record at 1080p 720p or 320.

Needed a device to record TV to watch at a later time. After figuring it out we are very satisfied.

Having teouble gett*ng an picture witth the remote controll and antenna. Its just an blank page om television. I would not ask any customer to buy this item.

It didn’t work with the TV, It was easy to install but that was all. I returned it right away.

The video quality and interface of this unit gets a c-/d. Buy the Insignia™ - Digital to Analog Converter Box with HDMI-output - Black instead, it is not that much more and so much better.

TRYING TO RETURN AN ITEM THAT WAS NOT WHAT I NEEDED. I NO LONGER HAVE A PRINTER AND CAN NOT GET OUT I AM STUCK WITH A BILL AND SOMETHING I CAN NOT USE. GUESS I WILL HAVE TO SHOP AT ANOTHER STORE IN THE FUTURE.

Do not buy this box!!! This is my second one purchased and it has just died and refuses to turn on suddenly. It does not seem to recognize the power source anymore. We have tried troubleshooting to no avail.

This is a poor excuse for a DVR. One of the reasons I purchased it was because it said dual channels. I took this to mean can record one station while watching another. my main combination is 13 and 3 locally. That is not dual stations on this unit. The 2 stations MUST be in the same series such as 13.1 and 13.2 not 3 and 13, therefore I returned it. Even 1 star is too much. I give it a zero because of that deceiving information.

Great little device. I needed it to receive over the air TV signals to use a projector and big screen.

Great product. Just want I needed. Works perfectly.

Good antenna would recommend, warranty is very good as well
