Bought 2 of these in January 2022, $50 each. Never really used them but had them hockes up. As of Nov 1, 2022, (10 months later, neither one of these work

Awful Item. Very difficult to attempt to use, I never succeeded. After 2 days, it stopped working completely. There must be better versions of this Product from someone else.

Box converted signal okay, but did not record very well. Lots of dropouts and pixelation -- even on broadcats that were pristine when watched live,.

Bought this to use for the hdmi option on a receiver with an over the air antenna. It was cheap and is doing what I wanted it to.

Instructions from manufacturer are poor. Hard to get Customer service. Has problems with play back. You can only watch the channel you are recording. The power went out after 90 days.

I don’t have cable , so I wanted to watch regular channels, bought this and it works pretty good . I would buy again.

I followed instructions that came in the box to use with antenna and tv but the converter box did not give a menu list of tv programs as stated on container.

Looked very promising for what we needed. Unfortunately, it did not work. Followed instructions from book (and website), but no success. However, I have other devices from Aluratek and will continue to buy their material.

The user interface is terrible. If you like paging through a file system, great. The remote is so flexible that I need to bend it in the correct direction for it to work. Spend more and get more.

It did great getting channels for my roommates older model (2007) tv. However, the channels are all out of order and don’t expect a reply from Aluratek customer service. They’ll never contact you back.

This is our third Aluratek model ADTB01F. It is defective, stopped recording tv programs via timer. Will return for a replacement

Didn't work. It said BOOT and didn't respond to any button pushing on the unit or on the remote.

The converter box stopped working within 5 weeks. It will no longer turn on. What waste of money.

This might be a good product for some people. I had problems getting it to work in conjunction with the HD TV antenna. The instruction manual was in ant print. Returned it. For that reason, I gave it 1 star.

What a piece of crap. Every time you turn off the TV, and you want to watch again, you have to rescan and reprogram the channels, a twenty minute process. Utterly worthless. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

Was working fine until week 4 and then the remote needed batteries daily and then completely quit working.

Terrible interface / dashboard. Took me 15 minutes to setup record… even longer to figure out how to watch.

Not compatible with optimum cable. Gave to my son in North Dakota.

this box has stopped working, and I will be returning to the store this week. this is the second box I have purchased. It is time to retune to cable.

Extra cables needed were not included. Called the Geeks and he explained how I needed to hook it up with my system and said I MIGHT get lucky and it MIGHT work. I didn't even bother. Returned instead.
