The user interface is terrible. If you like paging through a file system, great. The remote is so flexible that I need to bend it in the correct direction for it to work. Spend more and get more.

It did great getting channels for my roommates older model (2007) tv. However, the channels are all out of order and don’t expect a reply from Aluratek customer service. They’ll never contact you back.

Didn't work. It said BOOT and didn't respond to any button pushing on the unit or on the remote.

This is our third Aluratek model ADTB01F. It is defective, stopped recording tv programs via timer. Will return for a replacement

This might be a good product for some people. I had problems getting it to work in conjunction with the HD TV antenna. The instruction manual was in ant print. Returned it. For that reason, I gave it 1 star.

What a piece of crap. Every time you turn off the TV, and you want to watch again, you have to rescan and reprogram the channels, a twenty minute process. Utterly worthless. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

Was working fine until week 4 and then the remote needed batteries daily and then completely quit working.

The converter box stopped working within 5 weeks. It will no longer turn on. What waste of money.

Extra cables needed were not included. Called the Geeks and he explained how I needed to hook it up with my system and said I MIGHT get lucky and it MIGHT work. I didn't even bother. Returned instead.

Pretty basic but works well - need a good antenna or you will not get good stations

this box has stopped working, and I will be returning to the store this week. this is the second box I have purchased. It is time to retune to cable.

Could not get this product to store more than 10 minutes of a tv program. Tried several different storage products and failed. Had to return the device.

Terrible interface / dashboard. Took me 15 minutes to setup record… even longer to figure out how to watch.

Does not work at all. Tried 2 different antennas. Even use positioning app. No go. Does not make me happy

Can't be beat for the price. Menu takes time to navigate. Made good recordings.

Not compatible with optimum cable. Gave to my son in North Dakota.

If I could give this a zero rating! The antiquated on-screen display and navigation through the poorly designed menus was just enough for me to return this and get my money back.

Had to return this unit. Geek Squad determined it was not the unit I thought I was wanting.

I no longer remember why I bought this. Obviously, it didn't do what I needed it to do.

I bought this item on sale but it didn't take any channel. I took it back to the store and the guy told me it had to be hooked to an antenna, which I did. Still didn't work.
