This is absolutely junk! Will not let you watch another program on another channel when recording at the same time on a different channel. Cannot cancel recording that has been set. Ready to throw it in the garbage. Customer service is clueless.

How's old this device and unfortunately? It did not work nor did the person who sold it to me. Do? Their job very well since I was very clear about what I needed and unfortunately. Turn it up? Loose the. Morning on? This device. I could not tell whether or not my TV was messed up. The device itself didn't work and on top of all that it was the wrong device.

This box cannot get channel 7, which is the ABC channel in Southern Caifornia. ABC is a major network and there shouldn't be an issue with accessing this channel on a converter box, period. I did Auto and Manual Searches over and over again on this and fiddled with the antenna, etc. and this unit just can't get Channel 7. I have 2 Apex brand converters and they have always gotten channel 7 just fine, so I don't know what the problem is with the Aluratek unit. I called the Aluratek customer service number several times and just get a voice mail. This unit was a waste of my money, pure and simple.

Bought this about 4 months ago at BestBuy. It died today. Now I have to find another one.

Works great! Very reliable, great connection. So far no issues.

Was temperamental at best and died in exactly a year. Don’t buy this.

Does not work at ALL! Just as others keep saying, the thing just keeps turning on and off. Frustrating.

Quality poor and got worst after return limit ran out

Have had it a while could not get it set up. Had to go back to the store two times for cords. Past date to return item. For now put it back in box until I can find someone to maybe , On line and phone help didn't click either

Would rate as a '0' stars if I could. This is a piece of junk. Bought first unit, took it home, it would not turn on! Returned unit, got another which was first tested in the store to turn on, and it lasted one day! Second unit will not power up. Do not waste your time or money with this unit!

Horrible product. Most user unfriendly device ive ever purchased. Records when it wants to and you have to jump through hoops to figure anything out. Instruction manual is no help at all. Working with this dvr is like trying to figure out your lost combination to you safe

I have been using this over the last year and am pleased overall. The item had a fairly steep learning curve but I finally got it.

This was disappointing. The audio and video are out of sync. Also the picture is terrible. Returned this useless piece of junk.

U get what u pay for with this unit. No channel list editing that can figure out. Dual tuner sport of...can only record and watch differently "with in" same frequency. Ie you watch channel 8 but not record channel 9. No support that I can find

Failed after 48 hrs. Took back to best buy and they refused to exchange or refund waste of money

Just doesn't work well. Have to reset it quite often. The verbal speech doesn't match up with the person's mouth. Rarely shows the information on the programs.

if you are gonna use this with the xbox look somewhere else. it is not supported

Doesn't work. Purchased for DVR use and experienced same problems as everyone else.
