My new converter box

The directions are not clear as to how to retrieve the recording. I need to go on line and see if those directions are better. I would like to buy another one for another tv.

This helps the indoor antenna to work. It works great! Less money than buying a TV with a tuner to get local. Money well spent.

Very bad quality

Great unit for recording off of your ota antenna

I use a 128GB USB thumb drive that I had also purchased from Best Buy to record from my over the air antenna. I can schedule recordings in advance. Recording quality is very good. For the price, it's a very nice unit. Have no regrets for purchasing this unit.

works with analog TV

This allowed digital reception with digital antennae. easy to set up tv, gives info on channels and guide. Could not be happier . The auto-scan worked great, it did all the work.

Works good but not with cable TV

Would be great in a large city with multiple TV stations but we live in a rural area and are on cable. The cable company apparently makes it impossible to run the signal to a VCR, DVD or DV recorder. I did return it because it doesn't work for me. The manufacturer should print on the box "doesn't work for cable TV". I'm not sure about satellite.
