Works great bought this for a gift for an older tv

This product is very good to change from coix to HDMI I bought a Vizio and it to be converted from HDMI to COIX I would recommend this product

We’re very happy with this. The tuner on our tv stopped working after we moved it to a new house and can’t tune in to our attic antenna so the geek squad recommended this. It works great and the bonus is that it’s also a recorder.

Love this device because it allowed me to connect a coax antenna input to an AV receiver via HDMI. Now I get full hi-def video and audio from OTA TV signal, which can be selected through the AV unit. This is helpful when using a projector (modern flat screen TVs don't need this)

I bought this for the dvr function, it does exactly what I need other than it will not let you record and watch another, with the proper antenna it picks up around 25 channels in my area.

It was a very simple setup process. That’s the good. The bad, the audio(words) did not match the mouth. Would absolutely drive me nuts. Great picture, great audio...just if they were together...

This TV converter performed perfectly. It was a bit slow to configure channels but after the channel scan finished it worked great. Easy hookup and small enough to conceal behind the TV.

This little Box does the job and gives me quite a few local and over the air channels. I've only used it about a month but I couldn't ask for more. Quick and simple setup

Very capable digital converter with recording function. Very simple setup. Someone odd Channel switching and guide interface but certainly functional.

We just dropped satellite tv and are now back on free antenna. We want to record programs from our TV's rabbit ears. But we can't figure out how to set up a timer. Can't find any clock in this box. So far we can only record while watching the program.

Although unit does record on a USB drive, it does not record reliable, and the timer function rarely worked. After going to the extra expense of hooking up a hard drive it has been recording reliably, but I dislike needing to plug in yet another power supply and the clutter of more cables for the hard drive.

Does the job for recording OTA TV. Especially for the price (frequently on sale). Good tuner. The remote is a bit small and with more limited range than another similar brand, but you adjust to it.

So far so good. Seems to working just fine, for what I need it for.

The picture on the right tells it all. The C005 is all you'll ever see on the digital readout, it does nothing. The instructions are useless and it took an online 3rd party video to figure it out. The online menus do not work, recording is a chore and so far all I can get is a few seconds of recorded video. The company web site is useless. I've filled out the contact form and no one has ever returned my request for help. I cannot get any warranty help either the 800# is always busy. My return with Best Buy has expired because I've been resetting to factory defaults and trying all sorts of help videos online. Do yourself a favor and don't buy this. One other point it seems there are a few of these on the market all with different manufacturers, they are all the same. Useless. I'll see if Best Buy can help with the warranty perhpas I jsut bought a defective unit.

works great! exactly as described! wasn't sure it was going to work, a lot of fakes and lies out there!

This recorder works for only about 3 to 4 months, and breaks down, and I have to buy a replacement!

This unit lost power as with other different brands that I have had in less than a year's time of using this/them was returned out of warranty for recycling I took a similar brand to a service technician who could not service it suggesting moisture or overheating

Updated converter box. Gets good channels. Great device for the price.

unit runs about 19 hours a day. I have seen the audio and video lose sync after a bunch of hours. Powering the unit off and then back on re-establishes synch. There is also an issue of aspect varying. The same TV and powered antenna used on a previous convertor box experienced no aspect issues. The aspect issue does not happen randomly but when I shift stations sometimes. For the price and the hours it runs I am not unhappy.

The digital TV converter I purchased works but only after I also had to purchase, separately, and have installed an outdoor antennae. It did not work with my indoor antennae.
