This servers the purpose , i hooked hdmi port to receiver and indoor antenna co ax cable to co - ox port of this box, this helped me to cut the cord and paying monthly rent for those set up boxes.

Purchased to have Live TV pause for syncing up Vikings game with the KFAN radio broadcast. Works awesome.

I bought this to turn a monitor into a tv. Antenna coax to box, HDMI from box to monitor, now it's a tv. Worked great. My monitor has internal speakers so easy convert to tv thanks to this box. As for dvr capabilities I don't know.

Have a 30 years old tv, this device made it easy to receive channels without a cable box.

If you require something that you don’t expect to last long, by all means buy one of these. The unit will consistently drop channels that were working and require a total Re-Tune. Ultimately, it will fail. I got one of these that eventually crashed and returned it to the store. I was forced to pay the HIGHER Price value of the unit even while under warranty. The replacement just crashed. Don’t buy this.

We just dropped satellite tv and are now back on free antenna. We want to record programs from our TV's rabbit ears. But we can't figure out how to set up a timer. Can't find any clock in this box. So far we can only record while watching the program.

The first one I bought quit working after about 8 months. It would not power up and showed no signs of life (indicator light dead). I bought another one in October 2021. In December 2021, it suddenly stopped working and shows no signs of life. Fortunately I bought an extended Best Buy warranty in addition to the manufacturer’s warranty. If you buy this product, make sure you cover yourself with a warranty. I hope the 3rd one lasts, but I seriously doubt it!

Great find needed it because I cut the cord and my television didn’t have a place to plug external antenna. Easy plug and play.

GOOD RECEPTION, GOOD COLOR AND CONTRAST. AND EASY TO USE. I RECOMMEND IT. I HAVE IT INSTALLED IN A PROJECTOR AND THE CHANNELS ARE EXCELLENT.

I bought it to watch the Super Bowl. After some old fashioned antenna placement got the picture in. Crystal clear better than cable. I haven’t used it much after since I don’t watch tv that much. It gets the job done.

It is great and I learned a lot from our magical tech electronics guy who recommended this. We went directly to streaming from cable without any issues. It was easy to install.

This the second one I have owned. The first one lasted 4 1/2 years, which sad to say, is not bad by todays standards. Not a bad digital tuner for the price. I've never used the DVR function but the tuner works as expected.

Best Buy was the only store with this in stock. It was easy to set up and works perfectly.

Easy to install and works well. The main problem I have is that the instruction booklet print is so small I will have to have someone help me set up the programming. Also the graphics have dark backgrounds and are unreadable.

Very good product it did exactly what was advertised .Very easy to use I'm satisfied.

Very confusing to use. The time appears to be correct, but it records programs at a different time than set. The unit has locked up once with no response to either the remote or the on/off switch on the unit. I had to unplug it overnight before it would even start again. The manual is very confusing and doesn't match up with the controls. I'm just about to give up on it.

Thanks to Vizio making the silly decision to not put a tuner in my TV, I had to get this. It works great and is reasonably priced.
