Great for older TV's

The software is very buggy; audio and video tend to fall out of sync after changing channels, the recording function has failed at least twice, and the remote must be pointed precisely at the unit or the command may fail. A request to customer support asking if there was a software/firmware update for this unit went unanswered. Buy at your own risk.

3 month waste of money.

It was only used Sundays from around 12pm to 5 or 6pm. Now, right at 3 months of single day a week use it has died. I am an electrician so nothing that would have possibly damaged it happened. Terrible,

Awesome affordable dvr

The owner's manual is inadequate. I have been tempted to return it but I decided to spend several more hours trying to get to second base with it.

Not what I thought it was

This isn't what I was looking for. Will be taking it back to the store. I wouldn't recommend it to someone looking for a cable TV digital converter. Not sure what this is used for exactly.
