I returned the exact same model before plugging into power because a loose item inside. I returned it and was given another at the store. This unit so far(2 wks) has been easy to program for some daily soaps and the time setting was easy and programming agreed with my area exactly. It also picked up additional channels compared to the TV alone. You might consider the 24hr clock a deterrent as I did, but actually easier as you just program an hour instead of AM/PM. Working very well so far. I am working off an attic antenna.

Works great on my old panasonic tv and i can get about 30 channels

Works like it should, no complaints. Weird that a hard drive is required for recording, usb thumb drive wont work.

If you have a problem area for getting good reception like I do this may work for you. I'm using this unit in my basement and I can get all but two channels in my area.

Very nice unit, but I sometimes need to take the zip drive out vhf and install it again to get the record function to work.

It does work as inteneded. However, if the remove is lost, no setting xan be changed through the menu. In future design, I wish the menu to be accessible from the box.

Connects TV antenna cable to TV with only HDMI available impuits (cable connection is in use). The box even has two tuners.

Horrible, thought I'd give an OTA DVR a chance, been wanting to experiment with them, and the cost of this one on sale, I thought, you can't beat it. It took FOREVER for the auto channel find, then when you would switch a channel, in 1 second you would hear sound, then 3-5 seconds later the video would come in. I never could figure out the DVR part of it. The GUI (Graphical User Interface) is terrible. Switching channels is terrible, and overall performance is terrible, this thing must have a single core ARM cpu in it, ugh!!! I cannot say anything good about it. DO NOT BUY!

When listing times for programs it is in military time. I have family members that dont use military time, and it can not be changed for those don't understand the 24 hour clock.

The program info is small. The time of the program doesn't not work for awhile. Some time the program info doesn't show what you are watching.

It works well. I can use it on any of my TVs. It's easy to connect to your tv set. You get a clear picture.
