This little converter allowed us to watch the big game on our big screens at church!! So glad we had this!

I was unable to get it to work on my olderm TV set. You were required to get into the TV set to make some sort of adjustment and it would not turn on thr TV at all. I just returned it to the store as it wasnt working.

I bought this thinking that I could get satellite but where I'm at in the mountains it does not pick up anything with the regular antenna HDTV antenna he'd have to have a satellite dish where I'm at so since I couldn't with Dad up and get anything other than the prompts and scanning on it I ended up trying to get my hard drive for my laptop working with it that didn't work either I need my laptop up to do so I just returned it because I don't think it's ever going to happen with that but the people were very friendly at Best Buy and return my money

I returned the digital box, because it was functioning correctly and wouldn't let me change the channel. Afterwards I wasn't able to turn it on

This a great box. I glad to have bot it because it saved me a lot of money.

Worked as intended and worth the money I haven't had any issues so far.

I purchased the Aluratek in October 2023. It stopped working July 30, 2024. It still has the original batteries in the remote control. Since it stopped working within 1 year of the purchase, I think it would be a good candidate for Best Buy's extended coverage of $8 for 2 years. These days, a product should last longer than the original batteries supplied in the box at the time of purchase.

I recently got rid of cable and switched to an antenna and also bought this converter box. Works great.

A little challenging to figure out and a somewhat of a reduced screen but overall a good buy.

I was not able to compute it. It was too difficult. I didn't understand anything.

Wanted to convert coax to hdmi, which worked great, but had to issues causing returning item. The numbers were too small for my mother to use. I tried adding a universal remote, but Aluratek would not give out the code to program a universal remote and said the unit will not work with a universal remote.

I can now receive 7 channels via my electronic antenna, two of which are shopping and one is Univission. This has not worked out for me.

Menu structure is not intuitive but gets the job done. Plays well off the storage (you add yourself) and reception is good with the built-in tuner.

I have a flat screen tv in my barn, too far away from my internet. I had the tv hooked to a antenna and got 32 stations. Some pretty questionable. I hooked this up to the same antenna and got over 60 stations with clear reception. I haven't used the recording function yet but this alone was worth it.

Picks up most locsl channels but not all. Quality of picture is just ok nothing to write home about
