Converter box was no work around

Didn't work. The audio and the video connections were out of sync. Best Buy was very good about taking both items back. I gave in and bought a new TV.

Have to plug in the USB thumb drive to store recordings, remove thumb drive, plug it back in, remove it, repeat... repeat... repeat... and it might start to work, then again it might not, and it usually it doesn’t. Poorly designed. The manual is worthless. Whoever wrote the manual barely understands the English language. No thanks. Avoid this piece of junk.

Great Personal Digital Video Recorder

There is a learning curve to learning how to manipulate things, but not difficult to learn.
