hope they honor the warranty

It was working fine the night before. Turned the TV on the next day and the box would not power up. Hopefully I can return/exchange since it's within the 1 yr warranty period.

Great Digital Converter

Admittedly you have to get the controller just right in the zone for the signal to be received but I can't give this 4.5 stars so I rounded up.

Lasted only 8 months

A 'digital video recorder' that doesn't record.

I opened it up, set it up and found it needed an external storage device. I tried a 64g flash drive and that didn't work. I boxed it up with the intent to return it but got busy until after the 30 day return window. Now I have DVR that doesn't record and can't do anything with.

It stopped working after about 12 months. My father has an older tv that does not show the description of what is on in the title so he liked to use this. I just gave up the ghost and there are not much options out there for this. I'll probably need to get him another tv.

Kinda works - not worth it

It looked good on paper, as I wanted a simple DVR with an HDMI out. I fought with it for a couple of weeks, and then finally splurged for an amazon Recast as a DVR and stuck a firestick in the TV. Everything works much better now.
