Got this product after after we switched from Comcast. It is delayed during bad weather but is to be expected. But overall 4/5 stars.

Purchased so I could record shows from OTA that come on when I am at work or asleep. It takes a usb 2.0 flash drive or external hard drive. I purchased a 3.0 usb 2 tb hard drive. It is backward compatible to 2.0 usb. I had a 4tb external drive that would register but not work. I assume the reason is because it was too large and self powered. The new one I purchased receives its power from the PVR usb connection. So if you want to be sure you can record...get a drive that is either a 2.0 usb or backward compatible to 2.0. Also, be sure it does not have to have its own power source. You can program it to record 1 time, daily or weekly. You can also set it to just change to the channel for viewing. Once the video is recorded you can edit the title to what you want. Pull the drive and transfer the video to another storage device to watch later. While hooked to my TV via the hdmi (not included) it has it's own volume control. It really increases the level of sound from my sound bar. Its incredible. This has been the best $125.00 combined that I have spent.

For channels I could get on my tv its great but I can't program the stations

Works well, as advertised. As with any tv requiring an over the air antenna, you may have to move the antenna throughout the room, to fine tune the station, depending on what channel you are watching. This is no fault of the converter box. Thank you!

First off it says dual tuner but I can only watch the station I am recording. If I change the channel it will record the channel I am watching. Also it use to record 5 programs when I was not at home. But for some reason it stopped. The only way to get it to do that again is to delete my list of programs to record and set them back up.

Pretty good item. Only lacks in complete description of tv shows. Just gives a general term instead of a specific show title.

Works well to bring in OTA, but that's about it. Program guide is clunky, only shows 1 channel per screen. Once recording starts not able to add different recording for later time or adjust any settings. Does not allow to watch a different channel while recording in process. Playback is lousy. Skips, freezes, and drops out / shuts down playback. No resume function on dropout.Poorly written instructions, and very poor customer service. And remote is clunky. Returning ASAP!

works fine but the most used buttons for channel selection are on bottom portion of remote which is ACWARD TO HANDLE

Works as promised. I would recommend if anyone needs this.

The major complaint with this set top box is that the remote control won’t work unless it is pointed directly at the unit’s infrared eye. This is impossible unless you get up off your seat and move within a few feet of the unit.Even then,the remote fairly responds. In summary,please don’t waste your money and shame on the retailer for selling it to unsuspecting customers.

Irritated that you cannot add the unit to multi system remote. Phoned Customer Service and confirm this cannot be done with their product.

The audio does not match the video and this is annoying. A reboot sometimes helps but then falls out of synch again. The first unit I returned because the remote stopped working after a few hours of use. These units are cheaply made. I do not recommend this brand.

Piece if junk. Just stopped working one day and would not power on.

The unit will ranndomly lockup when given a command from the remote and after a bit automatically reboot. The unit will randomly lockup and it must be unplugged and after plugging in will reboot itself.

Box does what it is supposed to do................

I bought the converter box to connect an antenna to my TV. My TV didn't have a coaxial connection. It worked great and I can get many channels now. It was just what I needed after I cancelled cable.
