A great option for newer TVs with less audio options... Get this if you need to watch TV late at night and utilize Bluetooth headphones.

it really was awesome but i took it back for a just because upgrade. i would recomend it you want to watch TV at night but your wifes wants to sleep.

As of late, manufacturers are adding the ability to pair Bluetooth devices with receivers and TVs allowing owners to either stream music from their phone to stereo or from their stereo to Bluetooth headphones. Some of us have older technology that meets most of our needs, but the cost of upgrading to get the next cool feature isn't always worth it. The Aluratek Receiver/Transmitter does just that. It's a simple device that plugs in to your stereo or TV and transmit or receive to/from Bluetooth devices. What's even better is it has multiple ways to connect - optical, 3.5mm or RCA allowing you different options depending on what type of device you're connecting. Setup and pairing are very easy. Once pairing was complete, I streamed music for several hours without a glitch. The iPhone 8 also has Bluetooth 5.0 which allowed me to wander around the house while streaming to the Aluratek the entire time. The reason why I won't give it a 5-star rating is it doesn't have the ability to function as a pass-through device if your TV has an optical out that's connected to an AVR. Not a huge deal for most installations, but it does have limitations.

I bought this for my job, I travel in areas where my cell phone has only one bar but with this hotspot I get 3 bars . Great product

This allows me to use both my wireless head phones with my tv. I even went back and purchased anyone one for an additional tv.

This Bluetooth receiver is very helpful, allowing me to listen to the TV through my headphones without disturbing my family.

The range says 50ft., it's actually more like 15ft., does not pair with all bluetooth speakers or is limited to 1 at a time. I returned the item.

No problem pairing to my headphones and get connected to them every time I turned on the headphones

Currently using to link up iTunes from my iPad to an older Bose 3-2-1. Has worked very well.

Good idea but experience a small transmit buzzing maybe it is quality of earphones but if u like high quality you will notice it. Increase volume to compensate for it helps.

I have too say, The Bluetooth Receiver works Okay..Doesn't connect too any Bluetooth Headphones..Alittle Disappointed..But, when it worked, it worked...
