It does not work for a docking station.

Nice Dock

It's really small, so it's very portable. It also has all the ports I need. The color is very close to my Space Gray laptop too. Great Buy!

Good combination of function / portability

Did not want a super big hub because it travels with me, also going to Thunderbolt 3 type triples the cost. This is a great middle ground of everything. Plug and play no setup required.

It has 2 USB Type A ports, a micro SD slot, a full size SD slot and and HDMI connection. Everything you need all in one device for a great price!

Works Well

This allows me to keep my case on my Mac and can run my second monitor thru the HDMI and utilize my memory cards to access my pictures and upload.
