Only gave one star because I had to click something ... My Husband and I bought this as our "first washer." We were a little skeptical at first, but we were reassured when we saw it was one of their best sellers and the salesman said it was perfect for us as first time home buyers. We couldn't afford much, but needed something. So we bought it. Now ... a year and about 7 months into owning it, it no longer drains correctly, doesn't always spin properly, our clothes come out SOAKING wet, and the "lid lock" keeps flashing and I have to flip the breaker to get it to unlatch. It's so annoying. My advice is to save a little longer and buy something more durable. I don't care if it was only $300-something, you shouldn't have to pay just over $300 every year and a half for clean clothes. I am so frustrated with this machine!

I think I got what I paid for in this bottom of the line washing machine. I asked for the cheapest one on the floor and obviously I would not expect all the bells and whistles. This washer performs just fine for what I asked for and paid for.

This was a replacement to my previous washer, the price was just right and within my budget.

I needed a machine that could be left on back porch for operation so I didn't want to spend a fortune for a machine that would be exposed to the elements at some point. I had to get used to the quiet mode of the washing cycle, I wasn't sure it was working at first but clothes have not been this clean and spun as dry in a long time.

This washer is an excellent value for the money. We used the six months with no interest.

It is a very pleasant thing to walk into the basement and see a new appliance that works. It is clean and efficient. In addition, after it gets going, I hardly know that it is on. The clothes come out almost dry due to a vigorous rinse cycle that I have had before on other Amana appliances.

overall, a basic washer which is what most people need. with a young family of 5 we have a lot of laundry and this seems to keep up with our demand.

The guys who set up the machine set it up sideways, stated that I would need to purchase a longer attachment if I wanted washer facing the operator. I had a friend who had to set it up the correct way without any additional attachments. Delivery guys obviously were not trained in set up.

As far as washers go this one is on the low end price wise. It doesn't have any fancy features, but for basic clothes washing it does the job. I have not gotten an electric or water bill since using this product so I can't confirm the claims to being energy efficient but it was marketed as being energy efficient.

Had this washer for over 3 months so far all is good and working great.. It just does the job..

I would recommend this machine to everyone. The size is a hair smaller than what we had with the Maytag, but for $400.00 vs $800 and up, this is WELL worth the slight size difference

I love it. It's not loud, wash great, and lid locks when clothes washing.

Great value for the price! Washer is totally electronic: just put the clothes in, lower the lid, press a single button and off it goes. Had a bit of trouble levelling it due to weird placement of levelling screws. Otherwise, does a great job, and head-and-shoulders above the closest competitor.

This is a great washing Machine for a very good price.

Great value for the money. Good choice for singles, empty nesters, etc.
