    The washer has a locking lid that makes it hard to add softner to the wash and there is not a place in this washer to put the softner in ahead of time so you have to stop it, unlock the lid, pour the softner in and then restart the washer.

    The washer has decent options, load size and water temps, so that was a plus. It does make a little more noise than I'd have expected from a new machine however. All in all, for the price it serves the purpose required of it.
