good washing machine at an excellent price.i love all the buttons&it lets you know when wash is completed

Shopped around for the best price and was given the hard sell for the new front-loading washers that were double the price. The rationale was that they would use far less water and energy. However, it would take a heck of a long time to pay off the difference in price by water cost savings, so while I'd love to conserve water, this didn't make up for the price factor. Plus, call me old-fashioned but I just had to replace a Maytag (!) dishwasher that was fairly new when the electronic control panel went bad, so I prefer to have mechanical controls when possible, which this one has (along with some electronic controls; one can't escape them entirely). I also prefer top-loading instead of bending over to load clothes into the washer. As I mentioned in the review for the matching dryer, the price was the lowest on the same model washer/dryer than the big discount stores, plus the installation, delivery, and haul-away of the old appliances were all free. The big box places charged for delivery and installation. Ha! No brainer to go to Best Buy next time for appliances.

I was a little worried about the washer after reading some of the reviews, but was very surprised. It was so quiet that I couldn't even hear it. Wash load was done in in a timely manner. I am very happy with this machine!

Washes well, not too noisy. Locking lid had me fooled momentarily when I needed to add some towels. Easy to figure out.

My husband and I rented a washer and dryer from our apartment complex for almost 3 years. After moving we decided to purchase our own set. Best Buy had the best price for what we wanted. My husband washes at least one load a day. The washer is super quiet and gets our clothes really clean. My husband is actually enthusiastic about washing clothes now.

This is a good washer. I've had no problems with the performance. The features are a little basic, but the quality is great, and you just can't beat the price for a good product like this.

This machine gets clothes clean and they are free of excess water at the conclusion of the spin cycle. It does not vibrate and shake during the spin cycle. It is an excellent value. Consumer Reports whiffed on this one.

It's nice to have a newer model washer, even if this isn't top of the line. It's a good functioning washer dryer - but some of my clothes seem a little dingier than they were with my older model washer. Maybe it just requires more soap than the old ones. On the whole, good price for a standard machine - afterall not everyone can drop 2 grand on a washer and dryer. P.S. you do not need your own plug for a washer, but dryers are different.

I purchased this washer to replace my old washer. This washer works very well and stains and gets tough stains out.

If you want a great no frills basic washer then this is it. For a basic washer it is quite. It washes clothes just fine. This thing works better than the G.E. washer we returned to another retailer that fell apart after just three loads.

I purchased this washer with the matching dryer on Tuesday the 23rd and it was delivered on Saturday the 27th. The delivery guys came out, connected it, ran water in the tub to make sure it fills up then left. I immediately put a load in and proceeded to wash according to the instructions only to realize that it did not agitate. The water just sits in it and then it spins not even dissolving the detergent. I called the store and they had me troubleshoot it, which did not work. The guy said he was placing an order for a replacement and would have someone call me with a delivery time and date. I never received this call so I called the store and the person who answered was rude and just transferred me to several departments where no one answered. I wen to the online chat and the rep was not helpful so I disconnected and got another who was also unhelpful and refused to give me the number for their corporate office. I then called the toll free number and got Matt who was very helpful and transferred me to Rob who claimed to have placed the order and scheduled delivery for Friday. I am really hoping it works, I'd been saving for months to buy this. I will update....

I really can't think of a negative thing to say about this washer, except that if you need to wash a large blanket or coat, wash it by itself, otherwise the drum gets noisy and bangs on the side of the machine. Otherwise, this unit handles clothes fine- even large loads. It's very fast and very quiet.

I've had this washer over 6 months with no problems. A great value for the price. Very quiet and simply gets the job done!!!!

I've thad the unit for about a month and so far it does the job. I wasn't concern with frills...I just wanted a reliable washer and its every bit of that.

dries clothing fairly fast compared to the older drier we had . quiet when running . wife loves it.

This is a good started washer, however, we had to have it serviced before my renter could finish her first wash. After a heated discussion, the service company was sent out that day, not 3 days later as first suggested and now the washer works great now.
