We are a family of 5 with 3 kids inter 6 so we stay busy with the laundry. Washer is perfect for us and fit into our budget nicely. Loads are quick, washer itself is pretty quiet and most importantly, clothes come out clean and mostly dry. Easy install with existing hookups and very user-friendly.

Purchased this washer for my first home. It washes well on the "heavy soil" setting, but doesn't get some crusty stains out on other settings. Washes take a little longer than usual, but I really appreiciate the simple, easy to use knob interface.

Was looking for a low-cost washer to replace the expensive front-loader that was making our clothes smell terrible (I've since read that this is an issue with many front-loading washers). So far I am very pleased with the Amana. The wash cycle is pretty loud so if that's a concern for you look elsewhere but otherwise the features are great, it washes great and there's no (or at least way fewer) computer-based parts to go out on you. A great value for the money, particularly if it holds up well over time (I've only had it for a couple of months).

Bought this for a rental. The drain hose came damaged and trying to get it replaced or credited through Best Buy has been a nightmare. They said a gift card would be sent to cover the cost of a new one...I never got it. I sent the damaged one back to a return address Best Buy provided and they said they could not do anything. So that's a mess and overall the machine seems pretty weak. I can see the start button breaking very easily. It's a pretty flimsy unit but it was less than $300.

Seems to be washing and performing good so far. Seems like a very good deal for the money. Best Buy had the best price that I found and had it in stock which the other local stores did not.

High Efficiency washers do NOT wofk the same as the old style which was surprising yet a little annoying to learn the water used is very different. After learning that they use a lot less water and nothing is wrong with it, it works very well.

Didn't realize this model doesn't have a spot to put your fabric softener; didn't like that much. Can order one on line or just add manually. Somewhat noisy with the water and turning off and on, but overall a good washer for the price.

Perfect for the first washer I've ever owned quiet and efficient

The fill time is a little long since its not a front loader but it uses HE detergents. When I bleach white towels there is almost no chlorine smell left, just clean. My greasy work clothes get de-greased and there is no discernable smell or residue, just a clean tub and no moldy smell like my $800 LG plastic framed Front-Loader. 100 plus years of American Made metal engineering hide quietly inside. I put in my dress-up shirts without thinking: "What ran last?" I think the instruction book would be easier to understand if it wasn't for several models that have more layers of features than this one. I get cleaner clothes for the about the same monthly expenditure with the 0% finance as I spent at the laundromat - and I can keep the machines! American Made - Nice.

When in a budget this is the best washing machine you can buy.

Saved money on this washer. Very efficient. Seen savings on the electric bill also on the water bill. It is a little noisy compared to my last washer. A cycle takes a little more time also.

This is my first large appliance I've purchased on my own and I am very happy. At first it was very quiet and after over 3 months of use it does make a little noise when it spins really fast at the end to dry the clothes. Nothing that bothers me though as most times I put my clothes to wash and walk away. I love it and the many settings it has.

Two years with it and still works fine. Especially for the price. Totally worth it!

Got this washer with the matching drier. Washes well. Doesn't have all the bell and whistles, but for the price, no complaints. Wash cycle a little loud only reason for 4 not 5 stars.
