Had to wash clothes twice. I use powder detergent, left residue in clothes. That's what I get for buying a cheaper washer.

No fancy add ons that the other ones have, but I realized I really needed to stay on my budget. After a few weeks, I realized I didn't really NEED those other features. Kept things "right-sized."

We were tired of hauling clothes to the melting pot called the laundromat so we were very pleased that this basic washer was out there. Serves our purposes.

This washer has amazing abilities and works great!! It is energy efficient. It has a sensor on it for water and amount of clothes you have in there which I believe uses less water than most washers. It was very affordable and works very well.

Great washer and dryer set. But when I first bought them I thought the washer was broken. It was that loud!

The notion of high efficiency is great, if it properly washes the clothes. I was not aware of this "spotting" seen on dark clothes after a wash. I troubleshooted on my own to no avail. So, I googled the problem, and see that it is quite prevalent with high efficiency washers. Yes, it defeats the purpose of high efficiency when one has to run the washed clothes through another rinse cycle to "try" to remove the spots on clothing. Washing clothes should not be this difficult of a task to ensure my clothes will not have spots on them after a wash cycle. I'm sure my lighter colored clothing have spots, just can't see them.

We love that this washer has an agitator and that the lid doesn't lock until the spin cycle so you can add clothes and softener as needed.

Gets the job done very affordably. Has plenty of wash cycles and a soil level choice function. I really love that it has a fill sensor, using as little water as necessary AND that it only rinses cold, not wasting hot water.

Functional washer that doesn't have all the bells and whistles but still does the job. Runs fairly quiet and has all the standard settings.

I purchased this washer along with a matching dryer for my rental property. Great investment I will look at buying from Best Buy again.

The machine cleans the clothes well. I like the auto fill sensor so you don't have to decide what size load you are washing.

Purchased as a scratch and dent. Newer style washer with energy saving features. Different wash style took some getting used to after the old agitator style. Have not had any problems with yet. Easy to use.

Though it may not look like you can ft a lot into it, I've crammed a blanket and two towels and shirts into it and it took em like a champ! Keep taking these loads and I'll be happy for years to come!

This is an Amana but lets be clear; That's only an iconic American brand name. I purchased an American brand name refrigerator built by a Canadian company that was a real dud. This is Canadian don't know if it's same company. Looks good, large load capacity, has that old style agitator. It cost < $400 and cleans well and has economical low water cycles. Ask me in 5 years the rating could go either way.

Start time buying a Amana washing machine and it gets the job done. Have no problems

This is a basic washing machine - no extras...I had another Amana that lasted 18 years and is still running. I'm hoping for the same with this one!

We are a big family so we use it 24 7. My kids are used to a super large washer. It would be great for a smaller family.

Real good washer and affordable. It washes good leaves clothes clean, it is just a little louder then most washers.

The Amana washer gets the clothes clean at an extraordinarily bargain price. The washer is well worth the purchase.
